“The last time that I was your Guest in this assembly was at Saigon Restaurant in Urdaneta. I was still the Vice-Governor and I appealed for your prayer support ... I was able to survive. This is my first speaking invitation as a Congresswoman ... The other year, I told you that I will ask consultation from you in terms of moral issues that will help me in my legislation. And I suggest you do it as a group. Second, any good project that will help moral values in District 6... I was assigned to speak on “Crossover” inspired from Joshua 4:22-23. “Ano ba ang cross-over?” So Bible ang hawak ko kagabi. Tyrone said, “You should start from the beginning... ano ba ang pagkakaiba ni Moses at Joshua... Crossover, we need to go back to the nation of Israel and to the Great 10 Commandments. What are these 10 Commandments? ...Moses even sent 12 spies and only Caleb and Joshua saw the Promised Land. Crossover on 2010 Beyond? The Word of God leads them to a journey . We need a new breed of public officials... we should be guided by the Word of God... maraming hamon...God gave us the 10 Commandments in the area of legislation (like ark of the Covenant) and carry it where we go ... ... now as a Congresswoman, you may have an official capacity na di mo pa kaya and we need everyone... we need God sa kaganapan ng crossover... we must be guided by the Ark of the Covenant .. mas nakakahamon ... at kinikilabutan ako during Pres. Aquino’s Inaugural day because of the burden and responsibilities... Thank you, sana tulungan nyo ako. There are 287 congressmen and congresswomen now and I have this dedication. District 6 of Pangasinan, ano ang situation natin? Pano pag may susunod na bagyo? Were the dikes destroyed by typhoon Pepeng before have been restored? ... we need protection ... I need your prayer that I will not be swallowed by (wrong) system...”
